Collaborations
Youth work is all about relationships and taking action together. The relationships and actions we build with young people are empowered by our collaborations with people and organisations across the city. This includes formal partnerships like the three below as well as one-off and recurring teamwork – we are always looking for new friends and new adventures!
Time to Talk
Time to Talk is a city-wide partnership of five youth charities: The Junction, Granton Youth, the Youth Agency, Canongate Youth, and 6VT. It creates safe spaces, support, and real conversations in schools, NHS emergency settings and in youth work, funded by the Whole Family Wellbeing Fund.
Open All Hours
Edinburgh Leisure, City of Edinburgh Council, Jack Kane Community Centre, and Canongate Youth give young people the chance to swim, gym, dance, play sports, or hang out with their friends. Sessions are free, accessible, and in venues across the city: we’re at Royal Commonwealth Pool on Friday nights.
South East Wellbeing
Partners U-Evolve, Edinburgh & Lothians Greenspace Trust and Canongate Youth support children and young people in S.E. Edinburgh. Funded by the Community Mental Health Fund, we offer support, counselling, therapeutic coaching, group work, outdoor and nature-based activities, and more.
