Drop in Clubs
Bananas
Our Bananas club is open to P1–P3’s. Young people can hang out, make friends, and unwind. We’ve got arts and crafts, games, and loads of free play. The session runs from 4:00–5:30pm at Braidwood House (69 Dumbiedykes Road, EH8 9UT).
Space @ 6
Our Wednesday drop in sessions are for P4–P7s and are youth-led, with a mix of games, Xbox, fun visitors, and plenty of time to relax and have fun in a welcoming environment. The club takes place from 4:00-5:30pm at Braidwood House (69 Dumbiedykes Road, EH8 9UT)
Open all Hours
Looking for something fun to do on a Friday night? If you’re S1–S6, join us at the Royal Commonwealth Pool to swim, use the gym, or just hang out! You can also work towards NRG accreditation with support from an instructor on safe gym use. Sessions run from 6–8pm at 21 Dalkeith Road, EH16 5BB.
Nature Explorers
Whatever the weather, our Play Rangers will be in Dumbiedykes Park. It’s a fun, active space for ages 5+ with a mix of different activities, friendly competitions, football games, and plenty of free play. Find us at 81 Dumbiedykes Road, EH8 9UT on Fridays from 1:00–3:30pm.
Group Work
Kaleidoscope
We started our Kaleidoscope group in April, for young people aged 12-16, who are diagnosed or self-identify as autistic. Sessions are youth-led, with a focus on wellbeing, confidence building, and creating positive friendships in a safe and inclusive environment.
Jigsaw
We run weekly expressive arts sessions at Tollcross Primary School as part of The Jigsaw Project. Through creative activities, P6 and P7 pupils explore what it means to belong, build confidence, and think about a big question: do we really need to fit in?
Young Performers
This project gives young people the chance to take part in the Fringe as emerging performers. A group of teens will work with a music artist over 8 weeks to create an original live set, performed on the Fringe Community Stage on 28th August. Interested? Contact Cloe here.
